At an exhibit meeting earlier this week, we discussed filming a staff-only prototyping event because part of the exhibit might require museum visitors to film their creation.
I instantly thought: these videos will be gold. Giving a behind the scenes view of what’s involved in creating an exhibit is solid and intriguing content. Sean’s post on “Bring your customer to work day” takes that notion a step further. How would that concept pan out as a benefit for members?
Having toured the animal department today, I can say it’s a very special thing to see how things work (which is science at the core, anyway… right?) behind the exhibits.
